Over the last 15 years, HCTAT, together with its Italian and international colleges, has organized over 70 postgraduate courses, attended by more than 7200 professionals, of which, 7000 are from developing countries. HCTAT has also organized about 900 study abroad periods, exchange programs, and training on the job in Italy, featuring a combination of theoretical lessons with practical activities and educational visits to institutions and companies.

Presentation

The didactic visits program to institutions, structures, and research centers is aimed at two “lifelong learning” objectives: fostering exchanges between doctors, researchers, and experts in different health services; provide professional updating on priority issues in the healthcare field. They are part of the Scientific Committee of Professors of the Universities of Bologna and Parma, healthcare managers and referents of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the local health companies of Bologna and Ferrara.

Methodology
The program provides 20% of the theoretical lessons by university teachers and 80% of training activities on the job through educational visits to institutions, companies, and research organizations, where participants will be joined by tutors.
